A Walk In My Mother's Secret Garden...Promises of Spring

For the past couple of years I have shared with you, on occasion, walks in either Mine or My Mother's Garden. Depending on the time of year I posted these, would determine what I could share with you.  Today, is no different!
I am abundantly Blessed with a lovely home that happens to have around it a beautiful Rose Garden, that includes;  a large Jasmine vine (that's aroma makes you think you have died and gone to heaven),  Beautiful grapes and all the colors that their beautiful leaves provide through the seasons, a few bulbs here and there that display different and beautiful blooms every year!  What could be better? Right?

Well, in truth, My Mum's Garden! I think I have told you before that some people have a green thumb, well, my Mother has 2 green hands, then! She can take the deadest of dead plants from any of us and plant it, and the next thing you know we are asking what that new gorgeous bloom or plants is and she looks at us astonished, only to say that was that beautiful (fill in the blank) that YOU were going to throw away! What a joy!
It is too early in the season for my roses, but not too early to see the signs of Spring starting up in my Mother's yard. We call it her "Secret Garden" Probably because none of us can get a garden to flourish quite as easily, definitely not as beautifully as hers.

Of course, one of the things we all long for is the first blooms on her beautiful Crabapple tree! Guess what? They've started!

Want a closer peak? Me, too.

Are you starting to understand why we call it 'The Secret Garden'? Just when you think you have seen all of her garden friends that  she has sprinkled around the yards, you turn a corner and find another one. I, especially like this little guy! I got him for my Mum, when we saw where her truest joy was. (After her grandkids, of course!)
I told her every garen, like hers, simply must have a laughing frog in a straw hat!
Okay, just a couple more that I thought you might like to see. I am aware that many of you are still in the snow and cold. My hope is that through this you will see the promise of Spring's arrival, albeit delayed for some.
Now, last, but not least is one of the many angels that watch over her garden. Her garden Angels are entirely another post! But, I shared this one on Instagram a day or so ago and it was so enjoyed I didn't think I should leave it out.
I hope you enjoyed this little walk as much as I did sharing it with you!
Blessing always,
~Theresa
