Celebrating the Beauty of Summer (This week's TFT)

Hello dear friends. Welcome to this week's Thursday Favorite Thing party! Thankfully, I am back in the pink and able to be more present this week. I hope you'll forgive me the absence of features last week. That was a first for me, but couldn't be helped.
I'm doing everything I can to survive the heat. How about you? I am such a Fall/Winter person, this is my personal worst season like, but I do love all the beauty and Summer traditions that come with this (too hot) season.
Sounds like a perfect segway to your beautiful Features, doesn't it?
Kimberly at The Lou Lou Girls is speaking my language with her No Churn Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Add to it that it is 97F outside as I write this! No A/C! I could use a sheet pan of these today, Kimberly! Thank you!
Jennifer at Celebrating Everyday Life shared this beautiful setting with us in her How to Host an Easy & Beautiful Patriotic Party post.

Penny from Penny's Vintage Home shared her daughter absolutely gorgeous Farmhouse Table & 12 Chairs for $200 I'm in Love! This is the table of my dreams and they built it right in the house! What's not to love?!
Pam from Everyday Living Sweet Peaches & Summer Flowers: Monday Morning Blooms
Paula at Sweet Pea made these DIY Footstool while up at the lake. Aren't they wonderful? I love her Adirondack chairs too! What a beautiful spot to enjoy your morning coffee!
Sandra from Dinner at Eight's Hot Summer Colors for Brunch are just beautiful! As a matter of fact, her whole table is gorgeous!
I just couldn't pass up Michele from The Scrap Shoppe Blog's Individual Blackberry Cobblers Double yum! She really has the cobbler recipe down. I'm going to make them with all the fresh blueberries I have in my house. Shh.
That's it for me this week, but remember to check all my cohost sites out, as we pick our own and often very different features!

Thank you all so much for sharing all of your incredibly talented posts and creations! I just LOVE seeing so much beauty in one place.
Wonderful weekend wishes to you all.
Many Blessings,
This is us!

  3. Hi Theresa! Sounds like a bunch of you hostesses struggled last week so I am sending good vibes to TFT! I could do some serious damage to that strawberry cheesecake ice cream were it not for the fact I'm still on a fat-restricted diet! Boo! I reach for Skinny Cow treats now when I need my fix. Thanks so much for your time and willingness to host TFT each week - as a blogger, I know how much discipline and commitment is involved. I'm sharing a super easy summery salad recipe at #74 and chatting away in the kitchen. Hope you like!

  4. Theresa, thanks so much for featuring my hot summer colors! What a lovely surprise! Sorry to hear about your miserable weather. I know what you mean about summers -- I absolutely wilt in the heat. Give me cold any day, lol.

  6. Thanks for hosting! This week I am bringing more goodness from my home to your table. A delicious Navy Bean Salad kicks off the list. Then an Amish Pasta Salad salad for a cold light summer lunch. To round off the menu is a simple and juicy Fresh Melon Salad to brighten your table and taste buds as well! Enjoy!
