I Give up....Happy Valentine's Day Week!

Good morning friends and welcome back to the Thursday Favorite Things party! Well, as the title reads, "I Give Up!" I have decided to embrace all things Valentines because you guys are just too darn creative for me not to! I truly enjoyed all your wonderful links from last week's party. Happy February and Groundhog Day

Good morning and welcome friends!  Well, here we are, February already. And, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so bundle up for six more weeks of winter.   What a weird month February is.  Just 28 days long (but sometimes 29 every four years, which is so random when you think about it) Nonetheless, it’s great to be alive! Grateful for each moment and grateful to have you all here with us for another week of the Thursday Favorite Things party. I’m busy baking and getting everything ready for my Spring garden, there’s actually a lot of work to be done far before planting time, but I’m enjoying and excited about it all!

 Hi friends! What a wonderful start to August for us here in Northern California! The first day of August came in with a very unexpected, surprise little rain storm.  I was, needless to say, ecstatic! Not only that we NEED IT SO MUCH, but my garden was thrilled! I don’t think I told you yet, but what I decided to do, when trying gardening for myself, was growing Heirloom tomatoes and veggies. 

I’m kind of an information junkie when I start something new. So, I thought if I was going to put in the effort, I wanted the maximum output! My ELEVEN varieties, now,  are coming along quite nicely too! Oh! Did I mention I just finished baking 100 blueberry breakfast cookies for my church today? Yep, busy but happy!

Happy September! (19 Days Until Fall and Counting Down!)

Good morning, beautiful friends! I'm getting so excited for Fall/Autumn! I don't know about you, but this has been an excessively hot, and isolating (COVID, wildfires, etc..) Summer and I, for one, am, quite frankly, ready for it to be over. But, I'm grateful and happy to report that yesterday was the first day we woke up without smoke in the air! I, happily, was able to throw open my windows and enjoy the day!  You all were absolutely wonderful, giving me so much season changing posts full of inspiration for the coming of my favorite Season! Beautiful Countdown to Fall Features!

Hi friends! Welcome back to this week's Thursday Favorite Things Party! My regular followers know that I live in Northern California. So, yes, I am in the middle of all those historic wildfires going on right now, that's the bad news. The good news, is that they are gaining ground on them, finally, and that though I've been living inside from smoke and ash, I am NOT in one of the actual fire zones. Don't get me wrong, twenty minutes or less from some in more than one direction and we have had our GO bag ready, but, thankfully, have not had to use it. Enough of that!

Good morning friends! Before I get to this week's party, I would like to personally thank each and every one of you so much for your kind and comforting words of support and prayers for my family's loss. Your comments were soothing to my soul in a very difficult time. Thank you seems inadedequate.
