Hello and welcome back friends! Can you believe we are just 6 short days away from February 2023?!  My goodness, the older I get the faster it goes! Looks like you all are getting ready for Spring too! I have my seeds all germinated and starting off in the nice warm inside, just waiting and growing for the upcoming Season.  Well, friends, to be honest with you all, I don’t celebrate Valentine’s, but your beautiful offerings were too sweet for me not to share! Mid-October Celebrations!

Welcome back friends! I hope you are enjoying your October. Welcoming March, Praying for Peace & This Week's TFT Party

Hello friends, welcome back to Shoestring Elegance! Happy March to you all. I pray that everything is just as you like it where you are. 

Please join me in praying for peace for the Ukrainian people. So very hard to watch them as they try and fight to defend their home. Very heart breaking and difficult times.

This week, I spent some time with my Mum, which is not odd.  You see, every year, about this time her flowering crabapple tree puts on the most beautiful show for all to see. And, while it doesn't last long, it is spectacular sight.  Also, every year, I try and capture its beauty, but now believe no image will ever match the awesomeness of standing right in front of it and watching it come to life.  Nonetheless, I did snap a picture to share with you, before we get onto this week's Thursday Favorite Things party. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and that you have equally beautiful blooms showing up where you are. I am abundantly blessed and have nothing to complain about, in this place and time.

Happy Thursday and the first week of March! I am so excited that you dropped by. As much as I am a Fall/Winter person, I am truly enjoying all the Spring inspiration you all are sharing.  Happy New Year dear friends! I do pray you all enjoyed a beautiful, safe Christmas and were able to find Joy in the Reason for the Season.  I had a wonderful, albeit very quiet, Christmas and it was just what the doctor ordered for me. Baking is done. Gifts dropped off. Well wishes all around, and now to celebrate the coming of 2021!  Geez, I am old enough to tell you that this year still looks futuristic to me. Every.Single.Time.I.See.IT! 

 One of my favorite songs, way back when, if you can believe it, was "Tonight We're Gonna Party Like it's 1999!" As if we'd ever make it to 1999! LOL Ahh, the blissful ignorance of youth.
