Thursday, being the 'unofficial' start to the weekend, means that I get this opportunity to wish you all a safe, healthy, and Happy Fourth of July weekend. That is, if you are in the states, if you’re from Canada, Happy Canada Day weekend and  if your joining is from somewhere else, I wish you a wonderful weekend as well! Good morning and happy October, friends! Can you believe that? Already October now. I’m so grateful for the Fall months. They truly are my favorite time of the year. I am, however, desperately looking forward to the season’s cooler weather. Living in Northern California has been quite a roller coaster the last few weeks.

Sewing Face Masks, Baking A Lot and The TFT Party!

Welcome friends. Thank you for joining me. I hope you all found a way to truly enjoy your Easter!

Well, another week inside. But, I’ve been, surprisingly busy! I’ve been sewing face masks, as I’m sure many of you have (many done, many more to go), baking, even more than usual, and praying, a lot.  That’s good, though! The more I bake for our needs, the less we need to go out! (silver linings, here, people)  Although, I am running lower than I like on flour and my understanding is there’s not much of it in our stores. I still have my mother's cupboard to shop in! :) How are you all?  Are you doing okay with the SIP?

Hi friends, I'm so sorry about last week. I never did get back to the party. I apologize, but, like I said, sometimes, life just takes over. Being a nurse and someone who's already living with pain, you write a lot of things off about your body, until you just can't anymore. :(

Ruby Magazine for February ~ Special Valentine's Day Edition

Hi, friends welcome back. I'm super excited to get to share this month's special issue of the Ruby Magazine. It's not as easy as we would like to pick up a magazine or turn on the television and see only that which seeks to inspire and encourage us. Ruby does just that. That's why I am so happy to have a small part in this wonderful ministry.
RUBY magazine has been publishing for 10 years, and every year God brings new writers and old friends to share in this ministry. God is using YOU to be a blessing to women around the world!

Welcome friends.  Are you embracing the month of November yet? I love Novembers. A wonderful feeling of gratitude and even more thankfulness in our hearts, this month more than most. After all, it is the Season of giving thanks.   I have great news to share.  This months issue of Ruby is out and available for us all to read this month, as we approach Thanksgiving.  What a wonderful blessing and an awesome ministry this little magazine has been.  Yes, some of my recipes and DIY's are amongst its pages as well, which just pleases more than my words can express.

We are almost clear from the Northern California Fires.  The air isn't as full of smoke and the forecast is for a light rain this evening, one that we have all been praying for to help our wonderful, courageous firefighters. We are SO grateful!
